Mobile Email Application Now Available from Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless today introduced a new Mobile Email application for Get It Now compatible handsets. Unsurprisingly, this application allows users to have email sent directly to their handsets for reading on the go.
The Mobile Email application, provided by OZ Communications, partners with Yahoo! Mail, AOL Mail, AIM Mail, and Windows Live Hotmail, in addition to Verizon.net email accounts, to provide a branded experience for each of the services. Additionally, the system can work with third party POP or IMAP accounts. Users can configure up to 10 accounts for use with the service, which will then be pushed to the device as new email arrives.
Verizon Mobile Email is currently compatible with the LG enV, Chocolate, and VX8300, and the Motorola RAZR V3m and V3c. Once downloaded from the Get It Now store, Mobile Email is priced at US$5 per month.

I Called today to add the New Premium Plan that includes Mobile email vz nav vcast and Unlimited Texting to anyone and was told since mobile email was not available on the Samsung u740 7 14 07 i could not add this plan.

I just got a phone call from a verizon rep and told me that the u740 is not going to be supported for the premium plan at this time
