Revver to Provide Video Content Directly to Phones of Verizon Wireless V Cast Subscribers BASKING RIDGE, N.J. (AP) -- Revver Inc., which provides online video services, said Wednesday it reached a deal with Verizon Wireless to provide its user-generated and copyright-friendly video content directly to the mobile phones of the carrier's V Cast subscribers.The agreement, which starts early next month, provides revenue sharing opportunities for Revver users via broadband, broadcast and mobile distribution. Revver said it will split the revenue equally with users that allow their content to be shared on V Cast.
Revver will provide new video clips to V Cast each week, refreshing content twice a week. As part of the deal, Verizon Wireless will have a period of exclusivity as the U.S. mobile distribution partner for Revver.
