Making the music experience even better for customers, Verizon Wireless has tripled its catalog of Ringback Tones in the past year, to more than 10,000 choices. Get It Now customers can customize what callers hear rather than a standard ring, letting Ringback Tone subscribers entertain the person calling them with the song that they most want them to hear. Customers can also customize Ringback Tones based on the person calling, so Mom can hear James Blunt, while a best friend can hear the theme from "The O.C."Also topping the charts on the new VZW Tones Deluxe service is a recommendation feature that suggests to customers other songs they may want to consider purchasing based on a ring tone or Ringback Tone purchase they made. For example, if a customer purchases a Ringback Tone from Collective Soul, this "personal DJ" service lets them know that they may also like songs from 3 Doors Down, Green Day and INXS, and provides prompts for them to easily make another purchase.

Customers can download VZW Tones Deluxe in the getTONES shopping aisle. Ringback Tones are available to Verizon Wireless customers for a monthly fee of $0.99 per month. Each Ringback Tone purchased is $1.99, which provides unlimited use for one year. VZW Tones Deluxe with Ringback Tones is currently available on the LG VX8100, VX8000, the Motorola RAZR V3c and E815 and the Samsung SCH-a950.

To have their phone ring with their favorite tune, Verizon Wireless customers with select Get It Now-enabled phones can download a variety of true-tone ring tone applications from the getTONES shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store. With VZW Tones Deluxe, customers can purchase each ring tone for $2.99 or purchase credits to use toward ring tones: purchase two credits for $5.49 or four credits for $9.99. Most ring tones are available for one credit each.
