USB 727 Modem

I can't load the drivers on my Vista Inspirion 521s. I have loaded them and worked on the Internet w/my XP Compaq laptop. Helpdesk tells me to do everything that I have already done. The message I get when I go thru the VZ Access Mngr is "unable to install Data Interface". Any ideas?
